Mommy: Mommy was born on July 5, 1978 in Nashville, TN. She went to St. Cecilia Academy in Nashville and the University of Evansville, where she met daddy. Mommy is an R.N. and works with other babies at the Women's Hospital at Centennial Medical Center (also in Nashville).

Daddy: Daddy was born on August 26, 1976 in Indianapolis, IN. He went to Perry Meridian High School in Indianapolis, the University of Evansville (where he met mommy and played in a rock 'n' roll band), and Vanderbilt Divinity School. Daddy is an editor at The United Methodist Publishing House in Nashville.

Mimi: Mimi is mommy's mommy. Mimi watches me sometimes when mommy and daddy are working. (She takes really good care of me.) I like going to Mimi's house because she has the best toys and two kitty cats, Midge and Maceo.

Grandma and Grandpa: Grandma and Grandpa are daddy's mommy and daddy. They live in Indianapolis, but they visit pretty often. I like going to visit them, too. Grandpa is funny, and Grandma makes sure daddy and mommy don't get too uptight.

Morgan: Morgan is my cousin. She's only seven months older than I am, and she is the one person I will really listen to. We have a lot of fun together, but when Morgan says, "No, Meyer, No!" darn it, I stop what I'm doing and listen.

Aunt Cynthia and Uncle Troy: Aunt Cynthia is mommy's sister. Uncle Troy is her husband. Aunt Cynthia watches me on Wednesdays when mommy and daddy are both working. Uncle Troy is the basketball coach at Hillsboro High School, and I go to lots of his games. Go Burros!

Aunt Whitney: Aunt Whitney is daddy's sister. Her birthday is one day before mine. (She gets jealous because people think my birthday is more important.) Aunt Whitney is a middle school orchestra teacher in Georgia. She also runs marathons.

Aunt Sara: Aunt Sara is mommy's half sister. She's a lot younger than mommy and Aunt Cynthia, so I can relate to her a little better.

Grandpa John and Barbara: Grandpa John is mommy's daddy. Barbara is his wife. They live in Panama City Beach, Florida, just a couple blocks from the beach!

Grandma Tinley: Grandma Tinley is actually my great-grandmother. She's grandpa's mommy. Grandma Tinley occasionally comes to visit, but I go up to Indianapolis to see her sometimes too.

Great-grandma and Great-grandpa Gross: Great-grandma and great-grandpa are grandma's parents. Visiting them is one of my favorite things to do when I'm in Indianapolis.

Aunt Gayle: Aunt Gayle is mommy's aunt and mimi's sister. She looks after me sometimes and lets me play with her dog, Lou Lou. She's also an excellent cook.

Rhonda and Andy: Rhonda is mommy's cousin and Andy is her husband. They have lots and lots of kitty cats and some dogs, too.

Andy and Taylor: Andy and Taylor are Rhonda's sons and my second-cousins. To mommy, they're like brothers. Andy is away at college in Knoxville, and Taylor will be leaving for school in the fall.

Uncle Mike: Uncle Mike actually is not related to me, but he's one of mommy and daddy's closest friends and is part of the family. He used to live just down the street from us, but now he lives in Indianapolis. We still visit each other a lot, and we have a lot of fun together.

Zach and Jenny: Zach and Jenny aren't related to me either. They're also close friends of mommy and daddy. They come over quite a bit, and they even brought me some stuff from their trip out west.

Naomi: Naomi might be my favorite kitty cat, but she's definitely the meanest. Naomi is a big kitty, and she's gray with some orange coloring.

Reggie: Reggie is Naomi's twin brother. He's gray and slender and keeps to himself. I think he's scared of me.

Rivers: Rivers is the smallest kitty; he's also the fluffiest. We get along sometimes; other times, I get carried away and yank on his ears, pull out his hair, hit him with the telephone, or shut him in the dryer.

Curtis: Curtis is the youngest kitty, but that doesn't stop him from picking on the others. For some reason he doesn't pick on me, even when I tackle him.
